Resolved against manufacturer compatibility lists we read and dated, capped at 4. Vendor-listed means the manufacturer names this exact part number; fit-verified is our own check of form factor, interface and recording technology against a published requirement. Neither is a guess, and a drive the registry cannot resolve shows nothing here rather than a maybe. How compatibility actually works

This listing (WD63PURZ, ASIN B09MSCRLZM) carries no renewed, recertified, refurbished or pulled claim in its title, and Amazon reports it as new. On this site that is what "new" means: sold as factory-new. The stored warranty on this row is 3 years, as the listing states it.
The WD63PURZ's stored recording technology is CMR (manufacturer-sourced), which rebuilds predictably in RAID. The row carries a 180TB/year workload rating.
