DatacenterDisk is operated by Blackcedar Media Limited. We track enterprise storage prices for sysadmins, homelabbers and storage buyers, and publish the measured indices built on that data. What we are and how we work is set out in about and methodology.
Anything factual on the site is open to challenge. We publish prices that move hourly and specifications gathered from manufacturer documentation, and both can be wrong - a datasheet gets misread, a seller relists a product under a different item, a model number maps to two different drives. If something looks wrong to you it is worth telling us, even if you are not certain.
๐ง
Data correction
A wrong price, a wrong specification, a drive listed as CMR that is not. Send the URL and what looks wrong. Corrections are the most useful mail this site receives and we would rather change a page than defend it.
๐
Listing error
A buy link that goes to the wrong product, a page for something long out of stock, a broken link. Include the page URL. Product identity errors are treated as urgent - they send readers to the wrong item.

Add a product
Know of enterprise storage we are not tracking? Send the Amazon ASIN and we will look at adding it. We track what we can verify through the catalogue API and specify from a manufacturer datasheet.

Press and data enquiries
Journalists and researchers are welcome to cite figures from the site with a link. If you need context on how a number was produced, ask - the methodology page covers most of it and we will answer the rest.
What to expect
Email is read on business days and answered within 48 hours. A reported price or specification error is checked against the source - the catalogue API for a price, the manufacturer datasheet for a specification - before anything changes, so a correction may take longer to appear on the page than it takes to get a reply. Where a correction changes a published figure, the page says what changed rather than being edited quietly.
We do not publish a postal address; correspondence should go to the email above.
What we don't do
We are not Amazon and cannot help with orders, returns or shipping
We do not offer storage consulting services
We do not sell drives directly
We do not operate a public API or data feed. Price data reaches this site under a licence limited to display here, so we cannot supply exports or grant reuse rights. Figures may be cited with a link in the ordinary way.
We do not accept payment for placement, verdicts, or the removal of unfavourable ones
