API Terms of Use

Free Tier

The DatacenterDisk API is free to use for personal projects, homelab automation, open source tools and non-commercial applications. No API key is required.

Rate Limits

100 requests per minute per IP address. Exceeding this limit returns HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header. Contact us if you need higher limits for a legitimate commercial application.

Attribution Requirement

Free tier users must include visible attribution in any public-facing application, dashboard or tool that displays DatacenterDisk price data:

Prohibited Uses

• Reselling or repackaging the data as a competing price tracking service
• Scraping the website beyond the API rate limits
• Using data to train machine learning models for commercial purposes without permission
• Removing or obscuring attribution in free tier usage

Data Accuracy

Prices are fetched from Amazon US every 2 hours via the Amazon Creators API. DatacenterDisk makes no warranty of accuracy. Always verify prices at point of purchase. Prices may change between API fetch cycles.

Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms, adjust rate limits, or discontinue the API with reasonable notice posted on the API documentation page.
